# Audiolivres vs Audiobooks

The clearest difference is rating: Audiolivres at 5.0 against Audiobooks's 4.3. Audiolivres also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). Audiobooks's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audiolivres sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Audiobooks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Audiolivres holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audiobooks has 2.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Audiolivres's written reviews are positive against 77% of Audiobooks's.

Audiolivres ships an update every 16 months, Audiobooks every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
