# MinDgo 9 vs Xmind

The clearest difference is rating: Xmind at 4.8 against MinDgo 9's 3.0. Xmind also leads on ratings volume (7K vs 1) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). MinDgo 9's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and iOS requirement (9.2 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xmind sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. MinDgo 9 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Xmind holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xmind has 7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of MinDgo 9's written reviews are positive against 76% of Xmind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MinDgo 9 ships an update every 3 weeks, Xmind every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
