# Absolute RC Boat Sim vs Airplane!

The clearest difference is ads: Airplane! at none against Absolute RC Boat Sim's shown. Airplane! also leads on ratings volume (5.5K vs 461) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Absolute RC Boat Sim sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Airplane! sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Absolute RC Boat Sim holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airplane! has 5.5K ratings behind it against 461, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Absolute RC Boat Sim's written reviews are positive against 76% of Airplane!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Absolute RC Boat Sim ships an update every 2 months, Airplane! every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
