# ARDMS Flashcards vs Echolism

The clearest difference is rating: Echolism at 4.5 against ARDMS Flashcards's 3.8. Echolism also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months). ARDMS Flashcards's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARDMS Flashcards sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.49 per month and Echolism sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Echolism holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of ARDMS Flashcards's written reviews are positive against 0% of Echolism's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
