# Monkey Math vs Khan Academy Kids

The clearest difference is price: Khan Academy Kids at Free against Monkey Math's $2.99. Khan Academy Kids also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (133K vs 20). Monkey Math's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Khan Academy Kids is free to download; Monkey Math costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Khan Academy Kids holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2.
