# Calendars vs Calendar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Calendar at none against Calendars's 20. Calendar also leads on ratings volume (1.5M vs 123K) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.2). Calendars's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (56% vs 36%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendars sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Calendars against 4.9 for Calendar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendar has 1.5M ratings behind it against 123K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Calendars's written reviews are positive against 36% of Calendar's.

Calendars ships an update weekly, Calendar every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
