# Calendars vs Monaweb

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Monaweb at none against Calendars's 10. Monaweb also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 56%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.2). Calendars's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendars sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Monaweb asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Calendars against 4.6 for Monaweb. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendars has 123K ratings behind it against 951, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Calendars's written reviews are positive against 71% of Monaweb's.

Calendars ships an update weekly, Monaweb every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
