# Calendars vs Calendar

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Calendars at 123K against Calendar's 402. Calendars also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and chart position (#138 vs unranked). Calendar's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 56%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendars sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Calendar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Calendars against 4.6 for Calendar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendars has 123K ratings behind it against 402, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Calendars's written reviews are positive against 70% of Calendar's.

Calendars ships an update weekly, Calendar monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
