# Calendars vs CalenDraw

The clearest difference is monetization model: Calendars at free with in-app purchases against CalenDraw's subscription. Calendars also leads on ratings volume (122K vs 3.4K) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendars sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and CalenDraw sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Calendars holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendars has 122K ratings behind it against 3.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Calendars's written reviews are positive against 57% of CalenDraw's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Calendars ships an update weekly, CalenDraw every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
