# Calendars vs NoteCircle

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Calendars at 123K against NoteCircle's 1.2K. Calendars also leads on chart position (#121 vs unranked). NoteCircle's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 56%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendars sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and NoteCircle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Calendars against 4.6 for NoteCircle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendars has 123K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Calendars's written reviews are positive against 70% of NoteCircle's.

Calendars ships an update weekly, NoteCircle every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
