# Calendars vs Planmore

Calendars and Planmore both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of Planmore's written reviews are positive against 56% of Calendars's. Planmore also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.2). Calendars's advantage is ratings volume (123K vs 5K) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendars sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Planmore sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Calendars against 4.8 for Planmore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendars has 123K ratings behind it against 5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of Calendars's written reviews are positive against 92% of Planmore's.

Calendars ships an update weekly, Planmore every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
