# Calendars vs Vertical Calendar

Calendars and Vertical Calendar both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Vertical Calendar's written reviews are positive against 56% of Calendars's. Vertical Calendar also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 20). Calendars's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). Both are free to download. Calendars sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Vertical Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vertical Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7.
