# Calendars vs GEESI

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Calendars at 123K against GEESI's 2. Calendars also leads on chart position (#111 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 2). GEESI's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendars sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and GEESI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GEESI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendars has 123K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Calendars ships an update weekly, GEESI every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
