# Sticky Notes vs Memo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sticky Notes at 72% against Memo's 25%. Sticky Notes also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (6K vs 43). Memo's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Memo sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sticky Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes has 6K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Sticky Notes's written reviews are positive against 25% of Memo's.

Sticky Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, Memo every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
