# Sticky Notes vs Zipnote

The clearest difference is rating: Zipnote at 5.0 against Sticky Notes's 4.4. Zipnote also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Sticky Notes's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Zipnote asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zipnote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes has 6K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Sticky Notes's written reviews are positive against 75% of Zipnote's.

Sticky Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, Zipnote fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
