# Sticky Notes vs My Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Sticky Notes at 4.4 against My Notes's 3.0. Sticky Notes also leads on ratings volume (6K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). My Notes's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. My Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sticky Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes has 6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sticky Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, My Notes every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
