# Sticky Notes vs Weekly planner

The clearest difference is monetization model: Weekly planner at freemium against Sticky Notes's subscription. Weekly planner also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Sticky Notes's advantage is ratings volume (6K vs 8) and review sentiment (72% vs 50%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Weekly planner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Sticky Notes against 4.5 for Weekly planner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes has 6K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of Sticky Notes's written reviews are positive against 50% of Weekly planner's.

Sticky Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, Weekly planner every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and July 26, 2026 respectively.
