# Sticky Notes vs PlotIQ X

The clearest difference is rating: PlotIQ X at 5.0 against Sticky Notes's 4.4. PlotIQ X also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks). Sticky Notes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (6K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Notes sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PlotIQ X sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlotIQ X holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Notes has 6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Sticky Notes's written reviews are positive against 100% of PlotIQ X's.

Sticky Notes ships an update every 5 weeks, PlotIQ X every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
