# HPR vs MNBG

The clearest difference is rating: HPR at 4.6 against MNBG's 4.0. HPR also leads on ratings volume (238 vs 1). MNBG's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 84%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HPR holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HPR has 238 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of HPR's written reviews are positive against 100% of MNBG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HPR ships an update every 3 months, MNBG every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
