# HPR vs Rogue.TV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HPR at none against Rogue.TV's 1. HPR also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (238 vs 22). Rogue.TV's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rogue.TV sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. HPR asks for nothing beyond the download.

HPR holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HPR has 238 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of HPR's written reviews are positive against 88% of Rogue.TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HPR ships an update every 3 months, Rogue.TV monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
