# Hands vs Text Tokenization

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Text Tokenization at none against Hands's 1. Text Tokenization also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Hands's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.8.3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hands sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Text Tokenization asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hands ships an update monthly, Text Tokenization fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
