# Hello vs Math Shark

The clearest difference is rating: Hello at 3.7 against Math Shark's 3.0. Hello also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (61 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Shark sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Hello asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hello holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hello has 61 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.
