# Chocolate List vs UnchainedTV

The clearest difference is ads: Chocolate List at none against UnchainedTV's shown. Chocolate List also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). UnchainedTV's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (270 vs 38). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Chocolate List against 4.9 for UnchainedTV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UnchainedTV has 270 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two.
