# Number Flash vs Read Live

The clearest difference is rating: Read Live at 5.0 against Number Flash's 4.3. Read Live also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 57 months). Number Flash's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Read Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Number Flash's written reviews are positive against 29% of Read Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Number Flash ships an update every 57 months, Read Live every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
