# homee (old) vs evcc.io

The clearest difference is rating: evcc.io at 5.0 against homee (old)'s 3.4. evcc.io also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). homee (old)'s advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

evcc.io holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: homee (old) has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of homee (old)'s written reviews are positive against 91% of evcc.io's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
