# Multicines Ecuador vs Splash

Multicines Ecuador and Splash both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of Splash's written reviews are positive against 44% of Multicines Ecuador's. Splash also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 1.9K). Multicines Ecuador's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 28). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splash sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Multicines Ecuador asks for nothing beyond the download.

Multicines Ecuador holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splash has 22K ratings behind it against 1.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Multicines Ecuador's written reviews are positive against 95% of Splash's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
