# Lucidchart vs MindFlow

Lucidchart and MindFlow both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 69% of MindFlow's written reviews are positive against 21% of Lucidchart's. MindFlow also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Lucidchart's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (5.3K vs 33). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lucidchart sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and MindFlow sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lucidchart holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lucidchart has 5.3K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Lucidchart's written reviews are positive against 69% of MindFlow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lucidchart ships an update every 2 months, MindFlow every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
