# Pick vs Hex

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hex at none against Pick's 6. Pick's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 13.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pick sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Hex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pick ships an update monthly, Hex every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
