# V vs Draft Paper

The clearest difference is rating: V at 5.0 against Draft Paper's 4.4. V also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Draft Paper's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Draft Paper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. V asks for nothing beyond the download.

V holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Draft Paper has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

V ships an update every 2 months, Draft Paper every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
