# MyNB vs Quicken Classic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MyNB at 75% against Quicken Classic's 12%. Quicken Classic's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (15K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Quicken Classic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quicken Classic has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of MyNB's written reviews are positive against 12% of Quicken Classic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyNB ships an update every 6 weeks, Quicken Classic every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
