# WICShopper vs Rainbow Shops

The clearest difference is monetization model: WICShopper at free against Rainbow Shops's free with in-app purchases. WICShopper also leads on chart position (#174 vs unranked) and ratings volume (373K vs 42K). Rainbow Shops's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for WICShopper against 4.9 for Rainbow Shops. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WICShopper has 373K ratings behind it against 42K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 72% and 73% positive.

WICShopper ships an update every 2 months, Rainbow Shops every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
