# Dharma Treasure vs BDRC Mobile

Dharma Treasure and BDRC Mobile both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Dharma Treasure's written reviews are positive against 14% of BDRC Mobile's. Dharma Treasure also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). BDRC Mobile's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BDRC Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dharma Treasure has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Dharma Treasure's written reviews are positive against 14% of BDRC Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dharma Treasure ships an update every 4 months, BDRC Mobile every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
