# Passmaster vs Reset Tool

The clearest difference is update cadence: Reset Tool at every 10 days against Passmaster's every 12 months. Reset Tool also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Passmaster ships an update every 12 months, Reset Tool every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
