# Yabla German vs Learn German conversation

Yabla German and Learn German conversation both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Yabla German's written reviews are positive against 25% of Learn German conversation's. Yabla German also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yabla German sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Learn German conversation sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn German conversation holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Yabla German's written reviews are positive against 25% of Learn German conversation's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
