# Geofency vs Midnight Dates

The clearest difference is update cadence: Geofency at every 9 days against Midnight Dates's every 4 months. Geofency also leads on ratings volume (626 vs 4) and chart position (#60 vs unranked). Midnight Dates's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and price ($1.99 vs $4.99). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Geofency costs $4.99 and Midnight Dates $1.99 up front. Geofency sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Midnight Dates sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
