# WeVideo vs Vright

The clearest difference is rating: Vright at 5.0 against WeVideo's 4.6. WeVideo's advantage is ratings volume (40K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeVideo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Vright sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vright holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeVideo has 40K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeVideo ships an update every 3 weeks, Vright every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
