# Timer! vs 1Timer

The clearest difference is ads: Timer! at none against 1Timer's shown. Timer! also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). 1Timer's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 13 months) and review sentiment (81% vs 62%). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 1Timer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

1Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 448 and 1.2K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Timer!'s written reviews are positive against 81% of 1Timer's.

Timer! ships an update every 13 months, 1Timer every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
