# Timer! vs MultiTimer

The clearest difference is ads: Timer! at none against MultiTimer's shown. Timer! also leads on ratings volume (448 vs 76) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15). MultiTimer's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MultiTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MultiTimer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer! has 448 ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Timer!'s written reviews are positive against 82% of MultiTimer's.

Timer! ships an update every 13 months, MultiTimer every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
