# Timer! vs Loop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Loop at every 10 days against Timer!'s every 13 months. Timer!'s advantage is ratings volume (448 vs 67) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Loop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Timer! against 4.5 for Loop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer! has 448 ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 62% and 63% positive.

Timer! ships an update every 13 months, Loop every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
