# Internet Speed Test Speedcheck vs V

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: V at none against Internet Speed Test Speedcheck's 2. V also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (92% vs 79%). Internet Speed Test Speedcheck's advantage is ratings volume (98K vs 1.3K) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Internet Speed Test Speedcheck sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year. V asks for nothing beyond the download.

Internet Speed Test Speedcheck holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Internet Speed Test Speedcheck has 98K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Internet Speed Test Speedcheck's written reviews are positive against 92% of V's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Internet Speed Test Speedcheck ships an update every 2 months, V every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
