# Pro Project Planner vs Niche

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Niche at 100% against Pro Project Planner's 20%. Niche also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.0) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Pro Project Planner's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Project Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Niche sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Niche holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Niche has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Pro Project Planner's written reviews are positive against 100% of Niche's.

Pro Project Planner ships an update monthly, Niche weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
