# Fältskytten vs Shotlog

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fältskytten at every 2 weeks against Shotlog's monthly. Fältskytten also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fältskytten sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Shotlog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fältskytten ships an update every 2 weeks, Shotlog monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
