# ChartTreker vs Firetip X

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ChartTreker at 72% against Firetip X's 33%. ChartTreker also leads on ratings volume (27 vs 1). Firetip X's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChartTreker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Firetip X asks for nothing beyond the download.

Firetip X holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChartTreker has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of ChartTreker's written reviews are positive against 33% of Firetip X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ChartTreker ships an update every 6 weeks, Firetip X every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
