# Skip Search vs Infinity

The clearest difference is rating: Skip Search at 5.0 against Infinity's 4.2. Skip Search also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Infinity's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skip Search sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Infinity asks for nothing beyond the download.

Skip Search holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infinity has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Skip Search's written reviews are positive against 69% of Infinity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skip Search ships an update fortnightly, Infinity monthly. Both last shipped on October 5, 2026.
