# Conversation Therapy vs Symbol

Conversation Therapy and Symbol both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Conversation Therapy's written reviews are positive against 0% of Symbol's. Conversation Therapy also leads on ratings volume (121 vs 1) and update cadence (every 7 months vs every 39 months). Symbol's advantage is price ($5.99 vs $29.99). On rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Conversation Therapy costs $29.99 and Symbol $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Symbol holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Conversation Therapy has 121 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Conversation Therapy's written reviews are positive against 0% of Symbol's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Conversation Therapy ships an update every 7 months, Symbol every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
