# Scrool vs Con Edison

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scrool at 88% against Con Edison's 48%. Scrool also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). Con Edison's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 26 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Con Edison holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Con Edison has 123K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Scrool's written reviews are positive against 48% of Con Edison's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scrool ships an update every 26 months, Con Edison every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 9, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
