# ZoomNotes Lite vs vNote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: vNote at 96% against ZoomNotes Lite's 72%. vNote also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). ZoomNotes Lite's advantage is ratings volume (214 vs 14) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZoomNotes Lite sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and vNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

vNote holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZoomNotes Lite has 214 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of ZoomNotes Lite's written reviews are positive against 96% of vNote's.

ZoomNotes Lite ships an update every 3 weeks, vNote every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
