# Oldify vs AI Face Magic

Oldify and AI Face Magic both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Oldify's written reviews are positive against 17% of AI Face Magic's. Oldify also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). AI Face Magic's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On rating, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

AI Face Magic is free to download; Oldify costs $0.99 up front. Oldify sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. AI Face Magic asks for nothing beyond the download.

AI Face Magic holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.4K and 904 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Oldify's written reviews are positive against 17% of AI Face Magic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Oldify ships an update every 6 weeks, AI Face Magic every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
