# Oldify vs Colorify

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Oldify at 74% against Colorify's 28%. Oldify also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). Colorify's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Colorify is free to download; Oldify costs $0.99 up front. Oldify sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Colorify sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Colorify holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Colorify has 9.1K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Oldify's written reviews are positive against 28% of Colorify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Oldify ships an update every 6 weeks, Colorify every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
