# Coach vs RUA

The clearest difference is update cadence: RUA at every 4 days against Coach's every 17 months. Coach's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Coach ships an update every 17 months, RUA every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
